POST TRAUMATIC TRAINING INSTITUTE

Our History

The Post Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI) was established as a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) in November 2020 in response to the pressing need to accelerate the number of licensed clinicians, and those supervised by licensed clinicians, in the delivery of the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol™ in the United States. This long overdue breakthrough treatment for PTSD was developed by Dr. Franke Bourke, who initially used the RTM Protocol™ to treat over 250 World Trade Center survivors.

Our Mission

Provide training to clinicians to effectively treat PTSD using the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol™, a breakthrough treatment designed to relieve suffering and restore lives.

Our Vision

To expand the recognition and use of the RTM Protocol™ as the world’s breakthrough treatment for PTSD.

Our Purpose

The Post Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI) is the exclusive licensee in the United States of the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol™ training to address the increased mental health needs of Americans and ensure that more clients have access to this highly effective treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The RTM Protocol™ is the intellectual property (IP) of the Research and Recognition (R&R) Project, which has an operating agreement with PTTI. The R&R Project developed an online training program that PTTI has made available to all licensed U.S. clinicians, and those working under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Subsequent evaluations confirm that the effectiveness of the virtual training and treatment services is on par with in-person training and treatment outcomes, with the latter averaging 90% symptom remission and loss of PTSD diagnosis.
